I am looking to buy a 94 integra ls with a bunch of parts for 5500 dollars. The only problem is it has 117,000 miles on it and i dont know if i should buy it. What would you do? Would you get and if you did would you do anything to it. If so what would you do? thanks

 

I would talk them down some, but Honda engines are good engines so the nileage isn't that bad for a 94...

 

thats not bad at all, anything that goes wrong should be simple maintenance.....tell then u want to take 300 off for timing belt replacement.

 

honda's last so the miles isnt that big of a problem....

 

yeah i had a 91 ls once and it had 220,000 mi on it and it ran like a champion, back then i wasnt into cars so i didnt take care of it very well ie: never changed tranny fluid, brake, oil change maybe every 5K mi, jumped it twice, wrecked it once, never flushed the radiator nuthin, that thing was never in the shop, besides the wrecks, these cars are animals!

 

seriously.. like they said the mileage is not an issue. I'm at 119k myself on my 94ls... and still runnin strong. As for the price.. well i check my cars value at kbb last month and it spit out 4900, but you should seriously give us some more info... hows the interior? exterior? what mods? what maintenance has that guy done? these are all questions you should ask urself before purchasing and take into consideration.
