I was wondering on average how much would it cost me to totally rebuild my b18c1?.....if I do that is it just like new?

i hope you know what your doing, b/c thats alot of work, better have torque specs and know how to line up ur timing.

The range to rebuild your motor would range between $1200-2000, depending on where you go. when you rebuild yor engine it would actually be like new.

 

first of all does your motor work or is something broke. I am rebuilding mine because i spun a rod bearing and it will probably cost me close to 2,000 maybe a little more and thats getting the best deal possible on all of the parts. My only new mods are type r pistons and cams w/aem gears and I got one of those rsr headers from a place I found on honda-tech. The labor is what will cost all the money.

 

these are all overestimated values, but its going to be right around hear.
800 - crank
850 - rods and pistons
1500 - installation (theyll have to take your engine out)
2500 - all head components (cams, valve springs, valves, retainers, cam gears)
