Default Throaty, Deep, V8 Sounding Exhaust Setups

Finally made up my mind to get a new exhaust system and I wanted something that sounded nice and deep and throaty like a V8. Would the turbo N1 be the way to go? I heard about the Kakimoto R or the N1. Would those be in the same line as well? Can anyone provide sounds clips of your exhausts? preferably any of the ones I mentioned. Thanks

The only way to get that V8 sound is to buy a V8.

The sonic characteristics of a four cylinder range from weedwhacker to tractor. A deeper-sounding exhaust will put you in the tractor range.

That turbo N1 exhaust would be the furthest thing from a throaty V8.

you could get a deep exhaust, but you arent going to be able to find a throaty sound for a honda engine

It won't happen. Not with the N1.

The sound of the stock ITR exhaust is nice, its somewhat loud when you hit the pedal. Something like that with the same tone but Louder, deeper, and somewhat throaty is what I'm looking for. Haven't had much time "listening" to other peoples exhaust so I'm actually still in a zone choosing what sounds good or not. Any recommendations? What do You think the best sounding exhaust is? Thanks

Try Comptech or Spoon maybe? I think that's as close as you will get.

turbo your car and get a 3" exhaust system..it'll sound MUCH nicer than a v8

loves that distinct turbo car sound

The Buddy Club Spec III is resonably deep at idle and mid throttle. Full throttle is ear splitting... kinda like a 50,000 RPM chainsaw. The vid's on my sight don't do it justice.

Not recommended for a daily driver though...

But it's not going to touch a turbo v8

I would have bought a mustang if i wanted to hear a V8

bottom line, it can sound deeper, but it wont be a v8

If it matters, here's what my twin-loop 2.5" exhaust sound high flow cat sound like.

I have that exhaust with a J's intake and the sound is very deep sort of like a V8. The thing you have to remember though our engines rev about 3000rpm higher than most american V8's so the sound will never be the same.

yeah I dont think that is possible.

You can get as throaty as possible with some of the exhausts mentioned, but it will always be an inline 4 Honda

Is it really that loud inside the car?

Can your Intake, header, cat, size piping.. all affect the sound of your exhaust, so say, two T1r's could sound different?
