Yes, it's good bang-for-the-buck (e.g. good value).

Adv.
-cheap
-good power gain

Disadv.
-hangs lower than stock header
-can be easily dented upon impact

Are you sure that with the header I gain a good power ?
Here in Italy I spoke with some people (Honda lovers) that told me that the DC 4-1 JDM are not good. They told me Mugen 4-1 JDM or nothing what do you think?
Do you know anythig that have the DC 4-1 JDM and how much Horsepower gains?

Does an Italian R have the Honda tubular 4-1 header (JDM) or the iron US manifold?

If you already have the 4-1 Honda header, you'll see little change. If you have the iron two-piece US-style manifold, the DC JDM will offer decent gains and less than half the price of the m00gen header.

Your butt won't tell the difference between the DC JDM and the Mugen. Very similar gains and very different prices.

The Italian ITR have the 4-2-1 header. In Italy the DCSPORTS is very expensive the 4-1 JDM costs 980 euro (980 $)....

Hi there Italy! Im from Malta not very far from you. I have the DC JDM SS header on my 98 ITR and felt good gains with it. I bought it from USA. Its very cheap compared to the price you said.

If it's like the UKDM header then it will have a wierd tubular 4-2 section (instead of cast), but have a USDM like 2-1 section.

I swapped mine out for a DC JDM

Dosn't looke like that anymore though

BERSERK, BENVENUTO!!

The DC JDM 4-1 is one of the best headers available for the money. DO not pay $980 Euros!! You can buy it from the U.S. for aproximately $380.. Toda is also very nice and aprx. $980. I'm just estimating these prices.. Good luck.

Tifoso di Roma, o Lazio??

The ITR possesses of series 200PS @ 8000rpm in configuration JDM, for the market EU is strangled quite a lot to the exhaust and slightly to the intake. US version besides this has a relationship of inferior compression and develops, if compared DIN, less horses.

These are the differences between the 3 models of ITR.

The long intake system, like AEM and Iceman, offer a great punch in the middle-low range but a least increase to the hi-rev. This because the waves of pressure that travel, to the speed of the sound, inside the duct of intake they are not granted with the necessary length of the duct to the suit filling of the cylinders to hi-rev.

It's to be kept in mind that to get great power at lower rev. a long duct it is needed, instead to get power to hi-rev. one of it short is needed.
