Sounds good, but in terms of video... didn't seem all that good... or it might of just been me... but the sound was sweet...

It isn't supposed to be loud. Notice the trend? Twinloop - relatively quiet. Mugen CAI - quiet.

but it makes great power for an intake.

The mugen intake is bad as and sounds amazing!! well woth the money

are you sure thats not a stock intake?

 

you guys need to hear it in person. Especally on a strong motor. The sound is very odd. No intake I've heard sounds like this. Its really deep with a resonance sound before and after vtec. Its very strange and cool sounding. Plus the power it gives is even more amazing. Especally the gain over a icebox, etc... CRAZY!

 

You call a three hp gain over the icebox, CRAZY. I have to agree with you, you must be crazy to spend all that cash for the mugen

Guys, one thing to remember is that the audio pickup on the video camera is not going to translate the entire depth of the sound. Trust me... It sounds ALOT different then stock when you let her rip, yet still is very civilized when your putting around town.

Sorry that the video quality is a little lacking... I don't have a large account for hosting on my ISP account so I chose a fairly compressed video format; and we (Edwin and I) captured the video after work on some very typical city streets.

How much is it? DOes it fit ITR with AC??

 

$650 as listed on King's web site. Yes it does fit with AC but you have to massage the AC lines a little to make room. Several members on H-T (including myself) have AC and the Mugen intake.
