Default Pushing the Audiobahn 12's, Flame Q's. What amp???

Ive got 2 Audibahn Flame Q's. They are 12's and are rated at 1100watts rms 2200 peak. Ive use a few amps on them, Rockford 800.4, Rockford Power 750S, and a Sony 800watt. But I want something that will push them somewhere closer to there potential. I need an amp that will do maybe 1500 - 2000watts by 1 channel at a 2Ohm load. Ive been looking on ebay cause thats where I get most my stuff, but I want to know your opionin on what I should get!? Thanks!

Oh yeah.. they will be in the trunk of my 2000 Civic Si, I have a Dual-Sealed box for them right now, but im thinkin of switchin over to a custom built Bandpass box but all suggestions are welcomed.

Im also getting confused on this wiring setup...

I dont understand how you connect all the negatives or positives to one wire to go into the amp ?

I dont understand that diagram either... it looks like there are 2 pairs of +/- terminals on each speaker.

First off if you have the Flame Q's which are the 1206's then you don't want an amp that will run at 2 ohms mono you would want an amp that would run at either 1ohm mono or 4ohms mono. since with 2 of those subs and them being dual 4ohm voice coils those are the two configurations you could run them at. In my experience with those subs somewhere around 1000watts is plenty of power which would give you plenty of options. My guess is just that you had them wired up wrong and that's why you weren't getting the full potential of those amps. I would draw you a diagram if I had a scanner but I don't. My suggestion would be to go to a reputable local shop and just ask someone how to wire them. Most places will be more than happy to help you. As far as suggestions for a particular amplifier I would recommend either an Audiobahn 1300HCX which is 1200watts at 1ohm or a Memphis 1000d which will give you about 1100watts at 1ohm. Wiring them up to 1ohm is much less confusing then trying to get a 4ohm load since it's just straight parallel. Oh and the memphis will be easier on your electrical system then the Audiobahn since it is a class D amplifier and much more effiecient.

Oh and on the audiobahn subwoofers there is 4 terminals on each voice coil(2 for +, and 2 for -) this is so you don't have to cram 2 wires into 1 terminal. They share a common post on the woofer and just give an extra input. Makes wiring much neater for a show presentation which is what audiobahn is about.

Alright. Yeah I meant 1 Ohm. So you think 1000watts is gonna be enough? I can go with either the Memphis or the Audiobahn, i got a 1 Farad cap for the extra load the Audiobahn would pull. Ill check it out though, thanks man.
