So show us pics of the supercharger... my dad has the newer model of the same truck, minus S/C, and it's the rare stepside version (even the parts counter guys had not seen a stepside version when we had to replace one of the fiberglass fender flares).

 

sorry, dmotoguy posted it on my name. it's the truck that raced ridnmyhonda, and that's why he posted a pic. we'll get a bay shot

 

that truck is a complete clash of styles, the grille says mini truck, the engine says muscle car and the ride height says offroading. overall despite the fact that its supercharged i say it looks thrown together

this is dmotoguy... i think his truck is bad ***... im driving it today and its a lot of fun! about it being a clash of styles.. he just wanted to do what he liked to it, he likes to take it to the mountains to go snowboarding and mountain biking, so he jacked it up, he likes performance (he used to have a turbo eclipse) so he supercharged it, and he likes the graphics and grill cause he likes the attention they get and the look of it

 

not down with the graphics at all.

 

The supercharger is a great aid for towing, it adds quite a bit or torque down on the low end.

 

i guy i know owns a TRD SC'ed 4Runner SR5. ran a best of 15.4 at the strip.

the black one looks good, my cousin drives a Tacoma too, excepted it's a turbocharged four cylinder

 

honestly, if he likes it and uses it the way he wants, more power to him , im just stating what i think about the car as a whole.

on the other hand i like the black tacoma

heh it's stock tho... Tacoma S-Runner... I tried to get my dad to get that one but he wouldn't go for it, probably because he can't be shifting all the time (it came in manual only). Plus he doesn't care about performance.

 

im thinking about getting a 6 cyl tacoma and supercharging it or turboing a 4 cylinder, which one would you guys suggest, i have never actually seen a turbo'd 4, what kind of power can they make?

 

My cousins turboed Tacoma made the same amount of horsepower as the supercharged 6 cylinder, at about 10 pounds of boost

Damn, wish I had pics of my friend Brant's TRD supercharged tacoma, it's very nice.

Do you know who I am talking about? He lives in Pocatello, same as me, and its a white TRD with, I believe a 6" but maybe now its an 8" lift, and 33's maybe 35's now as well. His name is Brant and he goes to competitions all the time with it.
Anyway, I love his truck. It would be quick if he didn't have the huge tires.
