How to remove aem CAI filter for cleaning?
Are there instructions online where I could follow? Do I have to remove my front passenger tire to gain access? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
you should be able to jack up the front end of your car and then crawl under there with a flat head screwdriver (with a small handle so it fits in a tight space) and then the filter should be right there to unscrew....try that....if it doesn't work then take off your wheel and the inner wheel well lining and it is right there...
You should be able to take the two screws out of the fender lining where it attaches to the front bumper cover then fold it down and take the filter off. All you should need is a screw driver.
yea i go with integra mike on this taking off the wheel is too much work .
you can make things slot easier.
i just jacked mine up when i had it and unscrewed the flap and took it off. cleaned it and popped it back on

why not unbolt the whole 2 bolts holding the intake down and take the whole intake off? no jacking of the car or anything, much easier IMO.
