Default How to remove aem CAI filter for cleaning?

Are there instructions online where I could follow? Do I have to remove my front passenger tire to gain access? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

you should be able to jack up the front end of your car and then crawl under there with a flat head screwdriver (with a small handle so it fits in a tight space) and then the filter should be right there to unscrew....try that....if it doesn't work then take off your wheel and the inner wheel well lining and it is right there...

You should be able to take the two screws out of the fender lining where it attaches to the front bumper cover then fold it down and take the filter off. All you should need is a screw driver.

why not unbolt the whole 2 bolts holding the intake down and take the whole intake off? no jacking of the car or anything, much easier IMO.

have you ever looked at or installed a cai? It has one bolt at the throttle body plus one that connects it to the frame, and you can't pull it out without taking the filter off....know what you're talking about before you post!
