I have the JDM Conversion and am having the lighting all hooked up professionally with new wiring harness' and relays and aftermarket HID (I know should have bought OEM HID)
But in hooking up the Fog lights- should i have them just wired in to run when the headlights are on- basically always on? Or should i have them it on an aux switch? I know the JDM fog light switch would be optimal, but I dont really go for show and think it might be a waste- Its a daily driven Ichisima ride!
Im sure I would just leave them on all the time anyway- Your two cents is appreciated, even if you think this idea is as gay as boy george...
Also is my aftermarket HID gonna flicker at all? I'll cry a little everyday if not! My buddy has an SI with CTR headlights and even though he has obviously no projectors his HID looks pretty sick- very little flicker though and wide *** spread-

Wire up your foglights however you please, what other people think does not matter.

I assume your trying to make a joke about me saying that I'm not in it for full out show purpose- I bought a JDM conversion because its way sicker than the **** USDM front end- not because I wanted to follow this new trend of JDM.... But I respect your opinion curious george....
What is/ does the USDM fog light switch look like? where does it sit? I more or less wanted to know what you guys thought about them being on all the time, sorry If I confused. Because I think I would leave them on whether I had a switch or not!

I do not understand the fascination with having foglights on just because they are there.

I totally feel you on that- but for me it's not really a fascination, I just think the housing looks better all lit up! And you missed the point- I 'm not following the trend of JDM I'm JDM because the product is better!

an Accord is "sicker" than a "**** USDM front"? heh, I thought otherwise, but to each his own
_______
Are you saying you think a JDM conversion looks like an Accord? But I think the Accord housing is tighter than USDM Integra- It looks like a wannabe C- class. Or old *** Celica housing. To each his own though. You have a type R so who gives a ****...! Let me have my wins!

If you are having it all rewired, you can get a regular switch for the foglights that is in a useable location for a lot cheaper than locating the JDM switch. They will both work equally well.
I would only have the fog lights able to turn on with other lights, parking lights or better would be my preference. If you make your car able to have them on all the time (i.e without the other lights on) then you run into legality issues (at least here in cali) plus it would suck to leave your car with your fogs on (becuase nothing would remind you) to return to find your battery dead.

N who went through all these things, albeit only in his own head, when working with his JDM front end.
