ever paint skirtS?
I painted mine before. I went to Pep Boys and got me some Paint in a can and painted my skirts white to match my car.
It was coo until a couple months later. The paint would flake off and chip...
That's when I bought the OEM kit.
If you goto the shop to get it professionaly done, they usually charge you $100.00-$200.00 -
I'd spend a few more C notes and get the OEM kit.

kinda similar topic....but does anyone know average cost to get the OEM rear pieces painted at a shop? cuz i might be buying some white ones, but will need to get them done in black so they'll match my car.
1 lip would usually go for about $100~150.
also, do not do it yourself.. it may look good for a few weeks, but then it gets dirty easily and you wil have to spend money on more paint to refreshen it up.

Professional shops use a paint adhesive(sp.) called "Bull Dog" to get the paint to stick the the side-skirts, that's the advantage over a DIY paint job. I got my skirts and side moldings painted about a year ago, and they look just as good as they did when they were first sprayed.
you have to sand
prime with white
then paint (several layers, slowly)
then clear coat (again layered)
