Where to buy a good rotary buffer online!?
Whats up,
I was in the market for a good rotary buffer and I'm looking at the Dewalt DW847 at the moment. The price for this unit is around 140-150 ish. Fully speed adjustable up to 3k rpms.
I was just wondering if any of you guys knew where online to get a good rotary buffer online for around 150 or less. I want something that is fully adjustable and NON ORBITAL!.
Thanks for any help.

make sure you go for random orbital... Griot's Garage claims the Porter Cable random orbital they sell is the best out there, you might want to check it out. It's $200 from http://www.griotsgarage.com but you might be able to find it cheaper elsewhere.

random orbitals is exactly what you DO want, it keeps the polish from cutting into the paint like a straight drive orbital buffer will do.

i have a random orbital that she got from the meguiars catalog....it works great
harborfreight.com for $50
professionals use this type of polishers because it works better. the only downside is that you need experience or else you'll cut right through the paint. you can do both cut and buff/polish with this one machine.
orbitals are for wusses.
its only good for applying wax and polishing compound.....it doesnt work for cutting.

I have a wimpy one, just never rest your hands in one place, it will burn off the paint on the edge so fast..
It save alot of rubbing when I wax.

Like a said before, random orbitals
I have much experience with random orbitals and have used a friends rotary and the rotary worked out MUCH better and faster then the random orbital, that and the fact that my hands didn't feel like they were gonna fall off due to all the agitation of the random orbital.
Anyone toss me some more prices? one some rotary buffers/polishers?
