I was asked for some Pics of the Roof Console and thought it would be better to post them for future searches on the subject.

Might be able to get a few of these in if there is some interest (Please IM if you are)
Install is a Snap. 10 Easy Steps (9 if under 21 years of age)

1. Pull down on Mirror Arm (Don't be afraid to use some force, you won't break it.)
2. Snap off the Plastic cover (Grey) off of the Mirror Base
3. Unscrew 3 phillips Screws holding the Mirror Mounting plate (Black Plastic plate to the roof
4. Unscrew the 1 Phillips screw on the Mirror base
5. Place Mirror Mounting plate onto Mirror Base and Reinstall the 1 Phillips screw removed above.
6. Align the Bracket coming out of the Roof Console with the 3 holes for the Screws
7. Place the Assembled Mirror into place as well with the Roof console bracket in between it and the roof.
8. Reinstall the 3 Phillips screws removed in step 3
9. Push the Plastic Cover back onto the mirror mount (Grey Plastic)
10. Have a your done!

That'd make a very nice spot to mount a VAFC if modified to make it fit.

 

What is the intended purpose of this dealy? Looks like the front little compartment holds sunglasses? What is supposed to go in the back one? Doesn't really look garage door opener friendly? Also, does it wobble at all? I'm wondering whether or not it mounts tight with just 3 screws on one side

Looks cool though, I'd like to see a pic looking through the window as well, see how well it matches

Yes Closest compartment to the windshield is for sunglasses
The Rear compartment is large enough for a garage opener and other small things.
You could easily mount a VAFC inside in the rear by cutting out the Grey Plastic shelf inside and using Velcro to hold the VAFC to the Rear Lid so that it shows when popped open.

Sorry I don't have anymore pics, The colors are the same shades found inside of the ITR. Matches just fine as it is made for the ITR Only (But fits Most Integras and Civics without Sunroofs) It is made because the JDM ITR does not have the Center Console compartment.

PS I removed the 2 decals on the console, they easily peel off.

LOL, I think anyone who is worried about the whole 1-2lbs that thing weighs would be a bit wacky to even be installing one, Because if they are worrying about a small amount of weight like that they better have their cars C ompletely Stripped and Gutted. 10-20lbs I can see as a problem, but 1-2lbs for 90% of the people here isn't a big deal and even if it was they probably aren't driving 10/10 so that 1-2lbs wouldn't even make a difference.
