do bodykits really weigh a car down that much? because the car im purchasing has a buddy club kit on it. . .will it really make a difference?

Body kits weigh like nothing, lol. If you get a kit, get something that looks good. Not that invader ninja boosheet.

 

i used to own a bodykit. i think it added about 2 pounds to the weight of my car.

Depends on the kit. The old Wings West fiberglass RS kit for CRX was had som weight to it, the door caps were pretty solid, and it adds up. For most kits (especially the knockoffs) they're usually extremely light, it's when people started adding bondo to the mix, that the weight adds up.
