I'm sure this is a topic that comes by once a week, but I did my homework and did searches to see if it was covered. Surprisingly, using the terms that I did, I found nothing very conclusive. So, here goes...

I have my eye on buying a used Accord, most likely 5th gen (94-97, right?), though I'm not ruling out 6th gen if the price is right. The focus of my query to the forum has to do with mechanical issues to watch out for during my shopping for a 5th or 6th gen Accord. In other words, what are some common problems to look for? What are some of the signs that the car has these problems?

This weekend, I am looking at a 1995 EX 2-door w/ AT, 90k miles for around $8k. I have seen that some Accord AT's can't shift out of park when it's cold. Ideally, I would like a 5-speed, but those are the breaks.
