does anybody know if a automatice ecu is the same as the 5 speed ecu... doing a swap tommorow and need to know asap.. also if the 5 speed flywheel off a f22 will fit on a h22 cu the flywheel on the h22 is for a automatic and have no teeth... need help asap... and which way is the best for wiring the vetc.. i have the whole wiring harness

will fit just fine . clutchmaster has the same pt# for accord and prelude

An automatic ecu will fit, but you will have problems. The automatic ecu has components in it that read or control sensors from the auto trans and the TCM. You will most likely get a check engine light and/or a trans light.

find a 5spd ecu.

There is a post on this forum titled "h22a pinouts for a 93 accord" that will give you what you need for VTEC wiring.

 

F series and h series engines are pretty much the same so many of their components are the same.

The sensors will probably work. Some of the sensors (ie coolant temp sensors) have different ranges. Make sure they will work before using them.

 

what year is the ecu out of?
