6 speed tranny with 90 si motor

Default 6 speed tranny with 90 si motor

i currently have a std hatch and i am planning on dropping in the 90 si motor the d16a6 and my friend suggested putting on the 6 speed manual tranny that came on the the 198- 4wd civic...is this possible...anyone done it?

no.. it won't. you'll have spinning stuff that won't connect to something. that's not good.

plus, the "6 speed" really isn't.. it goes to like 10mph if that. so it's not worth it...

and besides, your transmission does have 6 speeds. 5 forward, 1 reverse! hahahaa.

alright well i guess i ment a 7 speed ...but there is no way to mod it anyway.
