Default Put a new climate control in and heater doesnt work WHAT IS IT?

OK, I have a 1989 CRX Si. My old climate control had the turning **** half BROKE OUT. So I got a new one and put it in (what a bitch to get in). But now I have A/C and stuff but the heater doesn't work one bit. Tried absolutely every combo with the ***** and buttons and still cool and cold air. YES THE CAR WAS WARMED UP! Please tell me what can be wrong......

check that the cable is hooked up on the dial **** correct. When you turn the **** to the red area, the cable pulls a vavle open that allows hot water to flow in the heater core. If the heater core isn't seeing hot water then all you will get is cool air blowing in the car. Find that valve and make sure it is opening and closing if the cable is hooked up correctly. If it is, then flush the coolant system and back flush the heater core. Make sure water is getting through that heater core!

how do you "back flush " the heater core?
