Can anyone make this logo transparant, and place it over this one?

I`m baffled as to how to make the logo background transparant.....

 

Here --- I spent like 15 min on it --- if this is how you want it let me know, and ill do it again and clean it up...this is a very rough idea of what i thought you meant.

I could only manage to do that with white outlines around the logo......
