Very Strange, Radio works fine but can't hear anything when playing a CD?

Very Strange, Radio works fine but can't hear anything when playing a CD?
I have an Alpine headunit and it was pulled out from my 96 Integra. I put it in my 88 CRX and i had to hard wire it, black to black, red to red, yellow to yellow, and blue to blue...
i did not ocnnect the other wires because I have an Amp to power the speakers so i just connected the left to left and right to right.
The radio works FINE, bbut for some reason when i change to the CD player mode there is no sound??

Easy fix man. You hooked your remote wire for the amp into the wrong Blue wire. It should be connected to a Blue/White wire. If you dont have a Blue/White wire, then use the Ignition wire (Red wire) If you have anymore questions IM me on AIM at CHACINC or just post back
