Default 1/4 Mile estimation for D16 coupe with 9psi???

I'm sure it's been posted and answered several times. I can't figure out this damn search option here.
5th gen Coupe with D16 running 9psi from Greddy kit?
No other major mods!
Could this car run high 13's? I'm thinking high 14's on a good day? Low 15's sounds more realistic!
My friends Civic Si with 9psi from DRAG kit was running high 13's with mild mods?

tunning also. But just a number i would say low 14's with traction high 13's I seen one run a 8.89 in the 1/8th but he had hondata and he was at 12psi, but he never could get traction.

WOW!!! Those kind of times with an engine that cooks 100whp stock?
Damn...what the hell would my LUDE run with 9PSI? 12's?
Would 9PSI on a D16 be ~200whp???
I better watch our for these guys!!!

Greddy blue box will not handle 9psi! You will blow your motor if done daily. Even if you crank on the fuel pressure to 70 psi still will not work! The loose marble noise is detonation and will occur even at 8 psi you are not supply extra fuel through fpr

Weight and traction with 180 -190 whp you could hit a high 12 you could also do a mid 15.. Its night and day..

i dunno, i ran 8.81 w/ sohc greddy kit, this is in the 1/8th of course w/ a 80mph trap, full interior COUPE ...never had the chance to go to a 1/4, but i'm pretty sure i could hit mid 13's....when i went to the track the first time about a year ago...people were telling me i wouldn't break 9's....

5th gen Coupe with D16 running 9psi from Greddy kit?
No other major mods!
Okay, so your setup is. . . .

5G Civic SOHC coupe
GReddy 15G turbo kit
9 psi
"No other major mods!"

Do you consider fuel management one of the "major mods" because, as someone had already written, you're going to need it. the blue box will kill your engine if you push it to 9 psi.

for my car...this is true...for my friend's D16y8 (fully built) 14psi hondata tuned coupe w/ full interior w/ MT 15" slicks 13.2 w/ a 1.8 or 1.9 60ft. ohh this was with GREDDY turbo kit and custom IC ....so yes mid to low 13's are very possible w/ the greddy kit.

I doubt a he'll break 13's with the d16 and 9psi. Unless he does some serious weight reduction, runs slicks, and is an excellent driver. Not saying it's impossible, just saying it's doubtful.
mid-low 14's with good driving

i remember some guy ran a 14.012 over on the Turbo D16 boards @ 8 psi. Name is SleeperEX99 or something like that. Has a pic of his timeslip on his website. If you can find him, and he browses theses boards often then ask him. With proper tuning an EX coupe can break 13's with a 2.0-2.2 60' ft and a good driver.

Yea he has an Apexi kit. He hit 13.8 with a profec b with high boost at 12psi. He had a stock clutch and tires too.

IT also depends on what kind of coupe, and what year. The 96-00 ex coupes are tug boats.

Like i said it's not impossible but doubtful (always exceptions to the rule).....There are way to many variables....sleeperex99 may have ran full interior or not, could have ran slicks or stocks to many variables......Like it said....stock full chassis coupe with 9psi probably won't break 13's (sleeperex99 didn't).
Hell i could run 11's with my car at 9psi if i got the weight down to 1600 lbs anything is possible buit the average weekend warrior isn't going to gut his or her car for a few 10th's of a second. to anybody that does though

I know high 13's is reasonable. My buddy ran 13.8 @ 101mph w/ 10-11psi. He had a greddy 15g that wasn't tuned.....on the other hand, he is a good driver and has mild mods w/ aftermaket clutch.
