Engine swap exhaust questions
I have started my engine swap and last night I hung the exhaust. Now I have a problem.
I need someone with a GS-R and someone with an LS to do something for me. Take a picture of the exhaust system... I need a picture taken from behind the engine showing the exhaust system after the resonator going into the cat and then into the headers.
I also need someone (LS or GS-R) with a Skunk2 Cat Back to get me a picture of the same angle.
I bought a Skunk2 Cat-Back and the problem I have ran into... well... you know the heat sheilding that covers up the cat? Well the exhaust system ends about 6 inches to the passenger side of the cat. So either the GS-R and the LS have different bends in the exhaust system, the place I bought it from sent me the wrong system, or the skunk2 cat back system is kinda funky with the lack of bends.
My choices are then to either return it and get a new one with a new shipping cost of 40... or I can go to the local muffler guy and tell him to put a cat in that is going to make this system work. And I will get pictures of the exhaust system problem soon.
