another addict in the mix...
hey all, great forum! I had all but given up finding a forum worth contibuting to, then I found this one. I'm an SCCA racer and member of the Florida region BOD, I run a civic hybrid in SPU and am with a team putting together an RSX for Grand-AM. I came-up thru auto-X and DE and have learnerd a lot along the way, and am looking forward to contributing. I am curious as to how many of you guys I already know? SEDIV racers speak-up! I know the phat-s car and the man behind the wheel at Silvermilk Motorsports. Some other cars looked familiar too. Anyway, glad to find a cool forum and happy to be aboard...
Aaron in da hizzouse! Its about dagone time
1gTeg90 is the 1st gen Acura Integra from school (Richard). I am pretty sure Chris (blue/yellow OPM Civic from school) reads but I've never seen him post.
If you are coming to RA in two weeks, Hracer (yellow/blue CRX, 2nd at the ARRC), Catch-22 (the blue Civic that won the SIC in ITC last year), metalworker and I in the Enduro, the guys from OPM and hopefully a couple of other guys from here should be there. Richard??

Just curious: how did you happen to find this board?
Many of us feel that this board is IT for people with Honda/Acuras who like to turn their steering wheels, but when you think about the numbers of posts and views in threads it becomes apparent that this is a reallly small world.
Scott, who welcomes you....

unfortunately for me, Roebling at the end of April will be my first shot at knocking the cobwebs off the old racing suit.
-Richard, who is having trouble with his memory, knowing that he should remember Aaron from driving school but at the same time realizing that he sometimes can't remember how to get home in the evenings from the office.....

, I thought I showed either you or Chris the seat (Cobra Imola maybe ??? - the rallyesque wraparound head restraint type - ran in the ITB/ITC/SPU group - think he won their practice races ??? cannot recall).
great, just as I thought, a lot of SEDIV guys, good stuff. Someone asked how I found the site. I was complaining to my buddy Andie that there were no good boards anymore and he told me to check this one out, and as long as no one asks me what "she'll do in the 1/4" or why i don't drive my civic to work everyday, everything should be cool.
I was considering going to VIR this weekend, but my shaved hakkepelitas are on backorder so I though it wise to stay south of the cold front.
Anyone planning on running the 12 Hours of Homestead in april?

This is a great - maybe the best- Road Racing forum on the web.
RJ gives plenty of room for debate and kills topics that shouldn't be.... excellent member knowledge.
We need to talk about SPU. I need some details. E-mail me or call here at the shop.
BTW- Your 'item' is ready for shipping. When do you need it?
