i was wondering if polishing your crank has any benifits to it at all? i was offered one for cheaper then the one i could get stock... it looks flawless, and it is cheaper anyway... but i cant picture any benifits beside a miniscule bit of friction lag.? or does every bit help?

 

It does not hurt, and it removes any minor scratches from the crank journals. And every little thing does help.

 

Micropolishing the crank journals will reduce the friction between the rod and crank bearings...which means you have less of a chance of losing them...
