Default m/t 20*8*14

i read through some other peoples scares with breaking axles but none w/ slicks --
i was planning on setting a two step at something like 5k--- we'll see when the track opens- but how is it possible to take advantage of launching your car @ high rpm if you break axles on drag radials what do i need to do ??
By the way i am running a b18c1 w/ juice want to use progressive delivery starting at 75hp jet off the line
Do-able or asking for trouble

I'd step up to a 22x8x13. the 20x8x14 is good if without the bottle but with the nitrous, might spin those small slicks

I have a 2 step in my car set at 6k for the launch and havent broken anything yet. I have run slicks and Nitto drag radials. The problem I see with breaking stuff with the drag radials is that they hop really bad. No matter what pressure I have them at, as low as 10 psi and high as 30 psi, they still hop and that is what breaks stuff. I also have MT slicks 20x8x14 like you, and have no problems with the hop. I run 12 psi in them and havent broken anything. I am also thinking of launching as high as 7k to get a better 60ft time. I am also running a zex dry set up with the 65 shot and I hit right off the line.
