pistons for turbo???
OK, I already know bout the whole deal with sleeving and forged pistons. My question is how low is to low of CR for a street turbo prelude. also for all you built turbo preludes, what comp. are u guys running?
would 8.5:1 be too low??? some guy is sellin a set for 290
And for the lick the nuts thing some damn mod put that there and i dunno how to get rid of it

8.5 is a little on the low side... 9.0:1 is ideal for an every day driver looking for a moderate to high amount of boost, i plan on boosting up to 25psi on my 9.0:1 compression. the higher the compression the more power you'll put out, but remember the higher you go the less of a safe range you have when it comes to detonation when tuning your motor.
9.0:1 i think is a really good number. Buy mine! brand new, never been used. I'm ditching project crazy horsepower street prelude because i won't have enough money to do it right the first time and still be able to eat dinner at night. They're brand new je 9.0:1 h23 shelf pistons. I'll take a pic if you're interested.
