Can anyone vouch for them?

 

Nope he sucks...Ordered a real GD2000 blackwidow kit from him like 2.5 years ago....He sent me a damn replica and would not take it back or trade it for a real one....He swears up and down its a real kit....But the thing is, he never saw the kit...he had it dropped shipped from Carisma...Hes a joke.

 

my friend purchased a hood from andy recently, and it wasn't too horrible.

it was shipped without hassle and arrived without any shipping damage.

there are small air bubbles underneath the gelcoat
the skeleton was separating from the hoodskin when we recieved it

the skeleton wasn't toooo big a deal, it can be siliconed back into place(still, shouldn't have to do this on a brand new hood).

the bubbles were 'normal' according to andy. he was not very willing to work with my friend to exchange for a hood without such noticeable flaws or to just make the customer happy in general.

keep in mind, this was the 'best hood he made'.

 

That's funny you know..because I asked both customers to provide me with detailed pics of both the products they received. As for your bumper, that was soo long ago..yet I still remember the whole situation. That is when I was dealing with Carisma, and I asked you to provide me with pictures of the kit so I could have some evidence to show Carisma, but I never received anything...other than that was asking you too much. Also when you did notify me, it was almost 2 months after you or whoever received it. It's kinda hard to fix things when you are contacted long after delivery. As for bubbles, we try to limit them..most of the time they do not exist, but sometimes they do. It's the business we are in. Nothing is always 100 percent perfect. I remember not getting any arguments from your friend, and I explained the situtation. Keep asking though because I know for a fact I have more happy customers than most CF Manuf. This happen to everyone. VIS, Fiber Images. When you make these 100 at a time, I bet you will see a little difference between everything. We try to be as cosistent as possible when it comes to fitment as well as quality.

i am not trying to talk your products down at all, i am just trying to provide personal experience to someone who is asking. i am well aware that you produce higher quality products than many others.

 

How are their carbon fiber hoods compared to VIS or extremedimensions?
