Default Rear speakers question!

My mom got a 95 Civic DX Sedan and I'm going to put speakers in the back (the place where the original speakers should go) and I found these instructions: http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/.../16608_01.html

I'm planning on buying some 6.5" coaxial speakers so I wouldn't have to do much modifying, so I want to know what's the max amount of watts the car can handle without any mods? I'll probably buy them off of eBay but I just want to make sure about the watts.

Thanks!

It depends on if youre keeping the head unit stock, upgrading it, how you want it to sound.. etc..

Yeah you will have to decide whether or not you are going to be powering the speakers through a head unit or an external amp. As far as RMS or Peak power handling capability, that all depends on the kind of speaker you get.

I guess I want it powered by the head unit so I can just install the speakers without any extra work. I just wanted to know if there was a max amount of watts the car could support? I don't want the car dying or the speakers blowing up or something
