Lambda Link a/f guage
I was reading the March 2003 issue of Turbo and in the SEMA spy shots the show an A/F guage made by Link. It says that it can be calibrated for wide or narrow band operation. Can anybody give me more info or the pros and cons of this a/f guage?
hmm... can it directly hook up to the 5 wire o2 sensor? Because the DIY kit i built has a heater circuit in it for controlling the heater within the o2 sensor.. i'm guessing it's more a display for a wideband meter? very curious also!
Yeah I have one running with my Link ECU. I also have the KnockLink gauge.
The LambdaLink can be hooked up to the stock O2 sensor, or it can be hooked up to a wideband, it can run as a standalone without needing to be hooked up to a Link ECU. I recommend it, much better than an autometer discolight AF meter.

no it is a new gauge with a full sweeping needle and it changed display colors when it was off, lean, rich, and stoich. it also said it could be calibrated for wide or narrow band o2 sensors.

I've seen the new LambdaLink - I guess its nice because you can now put it in a pillar.. but still, I feel that the older model is better, especially when you're driving and need to glance at it - coloured lights are easier to look at than concentrating on where abouts the needle is pointing to - and I don't use my LambdaLink for tuning, I just use it as an indication that there's enough fuel in the engine under WOT

In reading your posts over the past couple of months it seems you've blown two motors recently (the integra 5th gear pull, and your civic), did the lamda meter alert you to any knocking or lean conditions at all? Im just inquisitive since you had that and managed to lean out quit badly recently.
