****Anyone know the weight difference between the stock crank pulley and a JDM type R one? I know the JDM type R one is about 6-7 lbs.

The CTR N1 crank pulley that only uses the alternator belt is a worthy buy.

 

Most definitely. Removing unneeded belt surfaces = reduction in rotating mass.

Note for n00bs: the CTR N1 crank pulley can't be used if you have A/C or power steering...so put away your flame suit and don't bother asking.

 

Correction: AC and PS cannot be used with the pulley. Not the other way around.

 

the stock crank pulley with PS and AC is 10lbs. the N1 is only 2lbs.

Is the CTR N1 pulley a special order Honda part, or standard on all B16b's?

 

I like my power steering..

 

If a stock pulley weighs 10lbs, then the JDM type R one is about 4 lbs lighter.
