v-afc
Ok, so i have a v-afc on my 5th gen. Ive read our cars tend to run rich so i thought i take my car to a dyno t tune it now. I have intake, exhaust, and some other little stuff. Some people say i must have cam gears to tune some say i do not have to have them. What is true and whats isnt any info would help.

Personally i would wait until i got all the bolt ons that i wanted on before tuning it. Everything that you add is going to change things i would just wait so you only have to tune it once.
just keep in mind you'll need completely different settings on fuel and your timing when you have a turbo application, if you dont mind forking out 100 bucks go ahead and get it tuned so you can squeeze out a couple of extra hp.

dude get it tuned. yes you will have to get it tuned again later when more stuff is added. but is you ask the guys who have never had a problem with their cars vs the guys who have. i would bet that the majority of the guys with problems didnt get the car tuned after the added parts. they just waited till they added a few parts, then tuned. dont do it half assed. tune it after each mod. you will get more out of it and it will last longer.
