02 Integra Type R goes clunk!
Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone might give me some ideas about this discomforting problem..
I got an 02 integra type R( it's just out of it's 1 year warranty) and I am getting some wierd sounds when I change gear : After I shift up, release the clutch and apply the power, I hear (and feel) a heavy 'clunk' coming from the gearbox/drivetrain. As I ease off the power, I hear the sound again. It seems to happen in every gear. This makes me think that there is some kind of torque - related problem with the 'box/diff, but then I admit to myself that I don't know what the hell i'm talking about... Has anyone heard of these symptoms before? What does it all mean?
