Default Screechy/ Clangy noise

Hey you guys. I was driving in first gear (had just taken off) and I heard this screechy/clangy noise coming from the front passenger side wheel. I have heard this noise before, but it came from the front driver side wheel. I went into reverse and the sound got worse. My bf looked at it and he thought it was because the brake was cold (I had not driven the car since this morning). The brakes seemed fine....I tested them out, and eventually the noise went away. Any suggestions on what it is, or should I just take it to Honda? The car is a 2000 with 20k miles on it...good condition. Has rims/tires on it, but no work to the brakes....Thanks in advance

Only 20K miles, the description doesn't sound extreme, maybe dust cover rubbing on aftermarket rims, what's the offset? Did you put anti-sqeal grease on the pads when they were replaced? Probably just brakes.

car is not lowered. factory brakes still on the car. never altered. i can't tell what it is either. weird loud screeching noise when you start to take off in reverse or in 1st gear. I told her to drive down the street and warm up the brakes and hit em' a few times hard and it didn't do it after that. I felt the rotors right after it first did the noise and before she warmed them up and they were quite cold but it isn't cold in FL. oh well anyone else have opinions?
car is under warranty BTW

my buddy with a itr had a problem that was similar but we never realy found out what it was exactly but we concluded that a small object like a piece of sand or somethin got between the rotor and the brake pad. it made the sound that u are describing and would eventualy go away. good luck

That is probably what it is. I guess it will work itself out, or I could take the brake pad off and wipe down the surface of it or the rotor, but that probably wouldn't do any good. Thanks for the suggestions Appreciate it!
