where did you mount the IAT sensor? i know you have to mount it in the intake tube someplace. but i was wondering if anyone has a good idea of where to put it.
i did it one way but im not sure if its the best way. i mounted it into the bung on my CAI for where the line from the valve cover goes. i drilled the end out and cut the tube a little so that the sensor has a slight interferance fit. it will come out but you have to yank on it to get it out. but just the tip of the sensor is actually in the airstream...and i dont know if that is enough. will that screw up the reading and it will be measureing the temp of the intake tube instead of the air inside it? which will inturn make it run richer or leaner.
any suggestions or pics would be cool. thanks.

You want to get as much of the sensor in as you can... Me, I mounted it right beside the throttle body on my homemade CAI... I used one off of the D16A6 manifold, and screwed it into the PVC piping... No codes, no errors.
