If you can prove ownership, most dealerships will look up the information for free. I think there is a number on the radio that you will have to provide, though.

If you have the original owners manual, check in the back pouch. There may the the code card still in there. Otherwise take the radio S/N to the dealer.

My friend lost his stereo code so he had to provide the serial number AND the reference code on the tag. The serial number won't do. It was for a '96 Accord.
