Default M2F4 and M2Y4 the same except for ratios?

Hey, I read a bunch of posts, just wanted to be absolutely sure. From what I understand the M2F4(H22A1) tranny and M2Y4(H22A4) tranny are fully interchangeable, is this right?

I want to make sure that not only do the bolts line up, but all cables, etc from the M2F4 (H22A1) will work on my H22A4.

If there is anything else I need to make this work, please let me know here or through PM.

they bolt up the same.

4th gen shift cables will cause your stick to sit to the right a little. 5th gen cables are longer, you'd be better off with those.
