Default This looks like it's from a civic

hey guys i'm a long time reader and a big fan of civics. I just started posting on honda tech. this site is awesome, but now I need your help.I saw this rear lip for a civic ferio 96-97-98M in the 2001 mugen catalog and in the pic it's on a 96-97 accord. I was wondering if anyone of u guys could help me find this lip for my accord. I tried in the accord and appearance forums but they didn't help me. Since it looks like a civic lip maybe u guys could help me.

pic doesn't work, but for mugen, just ask kingmotorsports.com makes no sense to go anywhere other than the source. good luck with the search.

unfortunately, mugen does not make parts for the accord sedan/coupe. I am not too sure if they make 'em for the wagon, but that wouldn't matter.

I would check wingswest.com or make a thread in the appearance forum.

I don't believe you'll have much luck in this forum as well

good luck.

I looked at king motorsport web site and the mugen website and other sites selling accord parts and no sign of any rear lip for the 96-97 accord sedan that looks like the one in the pics. here's the link to the pic. it says mugen lip in the link, but it's talking about the front lip. Thanks guys for your replies.

sorry. guess i should have looked at the king site first. your link isn't working for me...maybe it's my computer.

it couldn't hurt to email king...i know there is alot of stuff that mugen no longer produces, and atleast you could find out wether or not it is actually a mugen piece.

sorry if i am sending you on a wild goose chase, just trying to give you all the options i can think of.

That is a version that VIS sells as the mugen kit. The side skirts are the same as the Civic and those side pieces have a groove so you can install those Mugen badges. I have installed a kit like that on a friends accord, but I know the side skirts are Civic Mugen copies, but I can't remember whether that was a Mugen style rear lip or wings west. I think it is Mugen copied cause I installed a fiberglass one on my friends car. Check visracing.com and you should find what you're looking for.

guys i dont think thats a rear lip. at first i thought it was molded in, but it doesnt fit too great. im pretty sure its a whole bumper cover. thought this might help your search a little. the lip kit is for sale on this page: http://www.versusmotorsport.com/body...rd/accord.html
its the type M kit.

theres a place called Impact Auto Parts or Impact Import Parts or something, it's in Glen Wild New York. do a google search, you'll probably find it. They had the Mugen stuff, I know cause I wanted the front lip for my 5th gen Accord, cause it was the hottest one out. better than that greddy one, which was the only one I thought was half decent
