OBX products! Any good??
Well they're cheap, and look pretty nice.
What do you guys think about this?

It's an OBX Integra Cat. Converter. It's pretty cheap, so I was wondering if I should get it or not. What do you guys think?

Well you cant f*ck up simple parts (unless your apc, saw a hood pin break lmfao long story) anyhow It looks pretty decent, and obx has some quality. For the price I dont think you can beat it with a stick
Skunk2nr, to be honest, I think I'd avoid it. OBX has a bad rep...and I just wouldnt trust my cat to them. I'd just suck it up and go Carsound.

Isn't that just a test pipe?
If it IS just a test pipe, I don't really think you can go wrong... (make sure you examine the inside of it, look for anything that could cause turbulence or disrupt flow, ie. changes in pipe diameter, etc.)

i bought an OBX cat back exhaust and it went on with no problems and hasnt caused any problems since then, its not overly loud and sounds pretty good, i had one of those cats but i took it off cuz i couldnt get a sticker with it, their stuff is good and the prices on ebay are great
If I were you, I'd stay away from anything OBX. Yeah, it's true that for the price, you get a "not-so-bad" product, but you'd be better off saving your cash for something else. Oh, and that is NOT a high-flow cat. It's a resonated straight pipe (I know, because someone I know bought that same exact one). Most (if not all) of the stuff OBX makes weren't exactly designed with performance in mind....if anything, they're just making a quick buck off rice-boys who don't know any better.
Oh, and one more thing to think about: A good source of mine tells me that the guy who started up OBX originally started selling his stuff at the San Jose Flea Market. Just a little food for thought....

for obx resonated test pipe. Sounds good, but it only 2.3" or so. if you want true high flow test pipe get a true 2.5 from testpipe.com My friend has that obx and its great. no problems. as far as obx's quality, it really depends on what you are buying, but if it were me, and i had the money, then definately that test pipe is a nice little looker. if you want a true high flow CAT get a carsound or have one custom made. testpipe.com --- good guys.
what about their turbo manifold's?

looks like a good piece and a lot better than a lot of the log style manifolds i see on ebay

I bought an OBX resonated test pipe but it wasn't the kind that had the laser engraved "OBX" logo, so maybe they've gotten better... But the one i got had crooked welds on the flange that would connect to the cat, just givin u a little heads up.

And at least with a Carsound you'll most likely pass emissions. Your car has been done up very nicely so far...dont cheapen it up now!!!

please...
a test pipe is a test pipe. "you get what you pay for" is a stupid thing to say for something like this... exhaust, header, fine. but this is a stinking test pipe!
if its cheaper than the rest, buy it.

This is a catalytic converter, not a test pipe
and not all test pipes are created equal. Some are higher quality, made out of better matterials, some have O2 bungs, and diameter is important. You don't want a 2.5" ID test pipe with a 2" collector and a 2.25" catback.
I would bet money that the OBX cat honeycomb fails and brakes apart inside before you have used it for a year. Not to mention you should know the diameter of a cat before you buy it.

looks like a cat to me, their test pipes are not as wide

oh, found more problems with it
2.5" -> 2.25" is going to cause reversion.
