Anyone fit a dsm engine into an integra, would it fit?

people are really going flame you for this but i have not heard of this, but it is possible it was done to an civic si.

 

if anything drop a b18 motor in the dsm. the crank walk problems are endless with dsm's. i wouldnt even think about it. but just for your own knowledge. if you have the money, a big block v8 will fit in your integra. money talks$$$$

For the price of the custom swap you could sleeve a b18 out, throw in low comp pistons and beefy rods, and put out similar power numbers.

 

In Thailand, labor charges for engine swaps are cheap. My friend had his 2JZ-GTE supra engine dropped into his Volvo 940GL, installed/wired up (incl. custom engine mounts, modified axles/driveshafts, etc), and ready to drive for US$225. That is considered a difficult swap. Its half that price to have a Honda engine dropped into a Honda

Damn, I love Galants. We've had two of them and both were great. I would love to make the Civic into a weekend warrior and drive a new Galant with a Vr4 swap. MmMmmm...leather, nice suspension, auto...and turbo
