Claim was made 12/3/2002.

Supposedly the insurance company sent the check to my OLD ADDRESS - after I confirmed my CURRENT ADDRESS with them on the phone beforehand!!!!!

They had to stop payment on that "lost" check, which took 4 days and were RELUCTANT to overnight the 2nd check. I bitched out a couple supervisors and they overnighted it last THURSDAY. TODAY IS MONDAY, and I FINALLY GOT THE ****** CHECK!!! WTF!?

Anyway, I got to keep my car and got decent $ for the car so they can take a flying **** on themselves.....

Please ignore my ignorance if I missed something, but I read the thread about the accident and the one with your lovely destroyed volks, but are you complaining about the insurance company being late in sending you a check to pay for the damage you recklessly did to your own car? I'm not saying I wouldn't try to collect in the same situation but I would be glad to just get a check period.

 

Why should he glad he got a check @ all. He pays for his insurance to DO THEIR DAMN JOB. He was insured regardless of whatever he was doing he was insured @ the time. If he was insured @ the time then he should get what he's been paying for.

Build a hybrid since they can wax an ITR?
