Question about the AEM CAI!!!!!
Ok. I got me a 3" inch ITR AEM CAI for my Skunk2 Intake Manifold.
The thing is, I have a GS-R AEM CAI, and I was wondering if I could take off the CARB Sticker on that and replace it over the ITR CARB Sticker.
Has anyone tried this? Does it come off easily? Does it stick? LMK!
Also, the New ITR CAI has this decal on the intake that reads "AEM Intake System", instead of the standard "AEM" decal. Why is this? Does all the new AEM CAI's have this Decal instead?

I was wondering what the new sticker was for...
You think you can buy them anywhere? Cause I want one...

The thing is, At the Smog place, some Refs check the code on the CARB Sticker. So if the intake is for a Type-R instead of a GS-R, he won't pass me.
So I was wondering if it would be ok to switch the CARB Stickers to the GS-R one. Then even if the Ref checks the code, it would be ok.

i was reading a large article about CARB testing and such, and i believe they said that CARB EOs were given in batches, such as one product for a family of motors. i'm not sure if that means all b-series would recieve the same EO# for the same product, but i think that's what it implied. did you compare your GSR's # with your ITR's?
Yup, those new stickers are on the intakes now. I have had mine since october, so I guess their not that new. Heres what comes when you buy it from aem:
You do realize that that CARB sticker doesn't really help you much if you don't live in California. I know people who have been told they have to remove intakes before the dealership will work on their car (unless you know someone) and people who still get fix it tickets for CARB certified exhausts even when they argue it in court.
It's just like those old Greddy 50 state legal things...it doesn't hold up in court.
