Need some advice.
I have realized that if I do this head swap I am goin to do it right. Right now my car is all stock except for a CAI. The head is a 97 ls head that has a max flow port, 5 angle valve job, crower 403's, venom cam gears, and type r springs and retainers. I guess one of my major questions is can I put this head on a stock ls bottom end? Maybe next year I will build the bottom end but not this summer. So if I bolt the head on the stock block with arp bolts and a mugen head gasket (Someone on the post told me that will bump compression up .4, I think it is) I can get dc sport 4-2-1, race cat, 2.5 inch pipe to muffler. MSD box, AEM fuel rail and B&M fuel pressure regulator. As to control it I dont know? Any ideas. I dont know much about hondata but I have herd only good things. What about just a APEX controller?
Basically can I bolt this head on with these mods and have a reliable motor that I am not goin to have to constintly fix. I dont rag out my car so it will be maintained.

how much are you planning on spending on this head??? if it is chep do it, but for the most part i wouldnt build up an all motor LS...you will run into problems like rough idle and things of that nature. also you should build up the bottom end asap if yo are bumpin compression. but for the most part it doesnt sound too bad for a reliable motor, but for major power i would look else where. IMO..good luck tho
