b20 vs b18 ?
I currently have a 88' DX with a ls-vtec and I am wanting more power. I have very seriously been thinking about changing my bottom end out with that of a b20. Is the swap worth all the labor or is there bearly a difference? I do know that the b20 has more torque but how noticeable is it? What are some of you guys that have had both ls-vtec and then b20 vtec track times before and after.
b20 cylinder walls r known to be weaker than the ls , if you r goin to sleeve the block i would just go ls , imo u can get just as much out of a ls block 4 less $$$ just my .02 ,good luck >>> e

well if you get b20 have it built like the one suggested in the website above. Many people might tell you they can build one for cheaper but they might skip some critical steps. But if thats too much you cant go wrong with the b18c
i seen that car at the local star bucks...pretty stupid for a old guy like that to be hanging out in the parking lot like that, he should be more professional...
Thank you guys for the imput. I think I may just build a ls block then. I also think I can probably pull as much if not more power from a ls bottom. Thanks for the imput though.
