looking for tranny

Default looking for tranny

i just got my DOHC ZC motor. ppl tell me that i should have goten the ZC tranny as well. cause saposively it has a mean **** 1st thru 3rd gear. but then i heard that i should just keep my SI tranny kuz it has better top end.. iono wut to do plz reply and tell me witch one i should stick wit

stick with the Si tranny to save money and gas. Or find a ZC tranny and put the Si 5th gear in it. That would be the best.

There isn't a great deal of difference gearing wise between the ZC and Si. The Si is the slight better of the two acceleration wise. The ZC has the advantage of the equal length axles which should eliminate torque steer. The Si is definitely the easiest and cheapest way to go. The ideal set up for some is the ZC tranny with the Si final drive. Opinions vary though.
