is there any good threads that i didn't find or any good websites with an in depth procedure or just word of mouth will work. let me know guys
a/f is easy just connect o2 wire(purple if autometer) to the o2 wire on senser(white) and the black to a ground and the red just pull the fuse for the radio and stick part of the wire in there and put fuse back in.
just pull the fuse for the radio and stick part of the wire in there and put fuse back in.
I wouldn't do that, splice the wire in by either peeling back some of the insulation then soldering your wire on, tape up when finished. You can also use a t-tap
, this is still better than shoving a wire in the fuse holder. What kind of engine are you putting the oil-pressure guage on?
[edit]: A good place to tap for 12v switched power is on the ignition harness. I believe it is the yellow wire. This is the same one that is used when alarms and such are installed.

it's just the autometer oil pressure gauge and thanks for the help on the air/fuel, makes a lot more sense than the instructions.
what kinda oil press gauge we lookin at? mechanical or electrical?
On the back of the VTEC heads there is a small plug that can be removed using an allen wrench. This plug is located next to the distributor housing on the back of the head. I can't remember which fittings I used, but I got a small 45 degree bend and placed my sending unit right on the end.

find stock oil pressure sender on back of block. pull off rubber boot. the boot was more of a bitch then anything for me. i ended up slicing off some of it to get it off b/c it was too stubborn. unhook and remove stock sender. install fitting on end of nylong tubing and install that end into the block. other end runs into gauge. if you wish to keep stock sender functional just tee off where you want. you probably need a 1/8 NPT to 1/8 BSPT adapter. some people claim the autometer fitting fit fine in their block, some needed the adapter. i just tapped my hole for future convenience. good luck

Regarding the tee fitting. If you use one, try to keep the assembled size small. Reason is that engine vibration can fatigue crack the pressure sensor if it's too far off the block.
