Default CR question on mixed parts

Here's my situation:
I was gonig to run a first gen B16 bored out to 84mm on the B16 head. I ordered a set of custom Ross pistons that were spec'd so they would yield about 9.5:1 CR on this setup. Right now I am looking at a B18C1 + ITR head + my custom Ross pistons. Playing on some of the online CR calculation tools... I think i am screwed? Seem like the CR would be a little higher than I wanted(about 10.4:1)?

Help please!
thanks,
-S

I'm not sure if there is even a problem in the question your trying to get an answer for but if your running a static compression of 10.4:1 your are going to be making a considerably higher amount of power at the same boost level if you were to run your motors compression somewhere in the 9's.
I personally don't see a problem in running slightly higher compression with forged pistons, you just have to make sure the guy tuning your car knows what he is doing. Thats all..

Adi,

I just realized that I left out of a piece of information that might be important. I would probably be running 10-15 psi daily. I just wasn't sure if there was enough safety windon at 10.x:1 CR.

thanks,
