spend a lil more money and buy a 4th gen man. You can buy a salvage title and fix it up slowly.

Used Hondas are way expensive. Pretty much any Honda (including Preludes) you will find for $2500 will be pretty ratty. (That red one in your 2nd link looks pretty sad. )

If I had only $2500 in my pocket and needed a car, I would buy a 91-94 Nissan Sentra SE-R. In fact, I did. . I bought one as a winter car last fall to backup my Prelude. I paid $2000 for a one-owner 92 SE-R in great condition with 75,000mi. They are fast, fun, reliable, cheap, and insurance is way low.

Andrew - who does not want to talk you out of a Prelude, but thinks there are better options for $2500.

how does this look...

there were a ton of nissan sentras, i dont think they were SE-R's though, just regular sentras. anyway, when i go to check the cars out what kind of questions should i be asking? i dont want it to seem like a good deal but have it breaking down on me a few months down the road.
