R1 or Sparco Speed seat?????
hey guys, my friends shop has 2 R1 reclinable seats with brackets and sliders for $700.00. I can get them in any color also that I choose.
He also has a special deal for his grand opening and I can get 2 Sparco Speed seats(seats only) no sliders, etc... for $500.00
What do you guys think I should go with????
I don't really know, I like the looks of both but don't really know/trust the R1's.
I need the most input I can get.
thanks.

The Sparco Speed's are not reclinable are they? It just comes down to what you think you'd be comfortable in. I had non adjustables in my old car, and I liked them, but my passengers would sometimes bitch. This time around, I think I'm just going to replace the drivers seat.
the Speeds aren't reclinable, i'm just trying to decide if I blow another 200.00 bucks on the speeds, for the rails, would it be worth getting the R1's???
keep the poll goin.....

i got he sprci's. the material of the seat are excellant. the seat arnt reclinable but when i sit in them, they are wicke comfortable for me. and wow 500cdn for speed eats are a hella steal man. i got my sparco speed searswith rails, brackets, and adapters for about 1000 (US dollars) around there ayways
Some people really hat non adjustable seats, others like them. If you're going to be driving long distances, then pay for the reclinables seats, so you can get comfortable, if not, the Sparco's might suit you. The Sparco's will really hug you tight, not a lot of freedom to move around with those.

on my parents mini van, before my accident I used to have the chair really laid back, but now I drive with it staright up and I find it really comfortable.
I guess I'll be getting the Spaco's then, mainly also that if anything goes wrong, I can contact sparco and I don't even know who makes the R1's or their website

i'm all about the R1's they look tight, theyre comfortable (a kid i know has a pair). and you'll probably equal out the prices anyway buying the sliders for the sparco's. but it's really your choice- i vote R1's.
thanks guys, I'm getting the sparco's and so far I choose on the Black color.
My car is milano red and either I would get the Speeds in Red or black.
anybody else recomend a color between black or red for the seats???

I can get speeds with sliders/brackets for $200. What do you think- should i go for it.
Are they stolen??? used???? new????
that's a weird price
the lumbar suppor ton the speeds sucked and they wernt as comfortable as the r1's these r1's were for a civic si but i modified the rails to fit in my prelude but i really enjoy them and so do the ppl that ride with me they really hug you.
Can you use existing belts with the R-1s??? And buddy dont forget to factor in the price of harness because you cannot use stock belt with the Speeds inless you drill a hole into the side and I would trust that for a second......I am suprised no mentioned this yet ....I had a friend who drove a month with no seatbelts because of this
