Default Looking for a stock-looking performance suspension...

ok, so my shocks and springs are shot, it's been 182,000 miles. I want to get a setup that won't lower me much more than an inch, I drive a 96 GS-R 4 door. Based on what I've read in the integra threads I started looking at Koni Reds and Neuspeed SofSports. Would this offer a reasonable increase in cornering capability? Is there a better, more price-reasonable solution. This car is never autocrossed, never drag raced, etc. It's my daily driver, I want the ride to feel ok, a bit harder than stock is fine, and I want it to corner a little better . And I want to drop it about an inch, but not much more. Lemme know what you think.

Eibach Pro-Kit with KYB AGX's are a pretty good street combo, and at a very decent price

I have an idea that has crossed my mind recently. Ground Controls are a very good setup as many know because you can swap out your springs with ERS springs. Couldn't you just do a taller spring with custom spring rates for the stock looking suspension. Just a though, let me know your opnions.

would that be a similar type of shock-spring setup? obviously I don't need anything too extreme...VERY moderate drop, moderate stiffness increase. I've heard this is a good combo, but I know NOTHING about suspensions.

I always thought that springs were better than coilovers, but once again I know almost nothing about suspensions. Sorry bout that, but try and bear with me . And my springs and shocks need to be replaced anyway, so I might as well get the real thing right? The SofSports advertise a .75 inch drop, which would work out well. And the shocks...well the koni reds are the most basic ones they make.

get eibach pro-kits in conjunction with any of these shocks:
1. Pro-Kit + AGX
2. Pro-Kit + Tokico Blues
3. Pro-Kit + Koni Specials

If it's just to replace your suspension to something similar to stock. these will do.
If that's the case don't get coilovers you won't like the ride. especially skunk2's, they have a very aggressive setup. i'd recommend the prokits + AGX since they give you adjustability for a very very affordable price. just replace with something similar to stock and sell that car jeez. almost 200,000! yikes!

For cornering get sway bars!!!! THEY WILL HELP
1. BSQ/Beaks rear 22mm rear sway bar kit
2. 24mm front sway bar from 98 + Integra. your model i believe has a 21mm front sway bar. somebody correct me if i'm wrong

Yeah, but the miles are almost all highway, and the only person to drive it before me was my father. I know everything that has ever happened to it, and have all the paperwork. It's only been serviced by my father's friend at the local acura dealer and a longtime family friend in town. And the interior is mint

In the past 10,000 miles I've replaced the transmission bearings, the clutch, the timing belt and water pump, and this spring it's having the block/clyinders re-sleeved.
