Go used, you have to paint it anyway, and the minor dings it MAY come with can easily be removed. There is no sense in paying an extra 2gs for a brand new one. My guess is that everyone else will agree with me on this.

you'd think so.. but some idiots try to justify the fact that they bought it new. i paid "9000" for a jdm front end conversion "DONE RIGHT!". "DO it RIGHT or dont do it AT ALL!"

i don't have one on my car... but i put one on my roomates car so i think i have a right to respond...

I definitely don't think its worth it to get a new kit, because you have to repaint everything anyway.. cuz original body panels from honda don't come painted. So why waste your money??? Most of the damage found on used conv kits can easily be fixed by ur body shop when they paint the damn thing and sometimes aren't that big of a deal to make a difference when gettin charged by the body shop either.

If you are serious about buying.. then give IC Roger an IM here or email him at roger@suvclass.com thats where my roomate got his kit.

The only part of the kit that i'd buy brand new is the head lights. I don't want some scratched up headlights. When everything is all said and done, about how much money is the whole conversion?

well i think it comes out to around 5gs if yo have all the work done by a shop. I mean its 300 per panel for paint generally speaking then you have installation..the radiator support has to be welded in etc..it can get pretty pricy.

is that for the installation of the front end and to paint the whole car ? if you are just have the front end installed and match paiting it should cost around 2gs .

Well a new kit costs around 200 grand right? and the install and welding is gonne abe around a grand. then its about 300 per panel for paint. Im sure it would total around 6 grand maybe?

I got mine, partially used, Hood, fenders, and MAYBE the bumper(mugen replica) are used, but the rest (rad support/rebar etc) are new. there was quite a few dents and waves with the used parts but if you have a good bodyshop, they can take care of it pretty easily. I got mine done for 2500 CDN. (- some work etc, I got it down to 1750 CDN including painting/installation of my sideskirts).

If you were to paint just the kit, would the coloration be off from the rest of the body?
