so saturday i finally got the car i ahve been wanting for a while.....

so far i am pretty happy with it....also happy with the fact that i was able to get the car in my name(which this is my first car in my name )

so i guess what i am saying is that i am leaving the crx/ef board to come join you guys and hopefully i will be able to help out over here as much as i have over there

yea when i get home i will post a pic or two of it.....i am at my first day of training at my new job right now......took lunch to get on H-T....lol
only thing i have noticed about it is the front bumper seems to be a differnt color than the rest of the car(was raining when i bought it so i didnt get a good look)
and the brake light in the guage cluster stays on while i am driving....so i am going back saturday to get them to check these things out

 

for the brake light, just check your brake fluid level as it might be low.
i remember my first day with my Integra (first car with 5spd and VTEC)....that weekend i popped of the airbox, put a filter on the tube, and became addicted.

what are your plans for it???

 

as of now it will be all suspension....havent gotten set plans yet though
second will be interior....have alwyas wanted a nice interior..nows the time
third will be the motor.....no plans prob a mild ls/vtec

this week i am ordering a comptech lip and a s2000 antenna.....then gotta decided how i am gonna lower it

I went from a EF to a Dc.

What a difference, yea its a bit heavier and the turn in is a bit slower BUT that can all be changed since your sitting on one of the best FF chassis ever made.

Have fun.

Once thing youll notice is the DC rotates so much nicer then an EF. Stiffen the rear of that bad boy up.

get an alarm and disconnect the power door locks

 

i understand the alarm part but what about disconnecting the power locks....why is that necessary?

 

 

congrats, concider yourself broke for the rest of your life, because once you get your first mod, youll want more and more, then pretty soon you find yourself selling your bedsheets on ebay just get a lil extra money for mods.

While your at the honda dealer getting the antenna, get the S2K start button too. It matches the color of your car

 

just received my s2k antenna conversion on saturday, and just got back right now from picking up the antenna. can't wait to do the install this weekend

 

If someone wants in your integra ... alarm or not .. they can gain access with a tool that depresses your power door lock switch inside the cab .... take 5 minutes ... unscrew the handle covers .. disconnect both sides
